Caring for the Earth
The earth is God’s creation (see Genesis 1:1). Church members are encouraged to care for the earth, be wise stewards over it, and preserve it for future generations (see Doctrine and Covenants 104:13–14). As members fulfill their sacred responsibility to care for the earth, they show their love for both its Creator and their neighbors.
The Church strives to improve its operational practices in relation to the use of natural resources. It also seeks to help communities address environmental challenges.”
