Latter-day Saints Join International Coastal Cleanup

International Coastal Cleanup Day and LDSES chapters are joining in the fun from across the world!

If you want to participate in this worldwide day of service, here are the cleanups LDSES has scheduled:

Utah Valley - Sept. 20 at 9 AM at Utah Lake State Park Visitor Center (more details: https://bit.ly/3Vqpith)

Germany - Sept. 20, various locations (more details: https://www.facebook.com/share/1AKaNaAeLw/)

St. George - Sept. 20 from 10 AM-12 PM. Meet by Ace parking lot at Dinosaur Crossing to clean up the Virgin River. Contact st.george@ldsearthstewardship.org for more details.

Boston - Sept. 20 from 10 AM-12 PM along the Charles River. Email boston@ldsearthstewardship.org for more details.

Mid-Atlantic - cleanups in September on Catocin Creek, Seneca Creek and Sligo Creek. Contact Merikay at merikays@verizon.net for more details.

New York - Sept. 20 at 3pm at Inwood Hill Park along Hudson River

If you don't live in one of these areas, you can still participate. Join up with another environmental organization or just go out on your own to any lake, river, or other waterway. And don't forget to take pictures and add us!

Photos: Cleanup at Seneca Creek, Sept. 27, 2025. Beer bottles and cans that are now recycled rather than washed into the stream and on to the Chesapeake Bay. Bags of plastic and other trash were also cleared as well as some invasive plants.
